Top 10 Blu-Ray DVD Players
Dvd Bd Player Questions

Which is better at upconverting DVDs, a standard DVD player or BD player?
simple as it sounds. i’m not interested in replacing my entire DVD library with blu-rays, and i mostly buy digital copies of movies now, so no need to buy blu-ray discs, but i’m looking to buy a home-theater-in-a-box set, and i’m not sure if i should get a blu-ray player based system, or stick to a lower-cost DVD based system. thoughts?
Standard DVD players do not upscale DVDs at all, so if you want to do that you will either need to buy a DVD upscaling DVD player or a Blu Ray player.
But then again, if you are going to buy a Home Theater in a Box, then you are obviously not a stickler for quality, so it really won’t matter.
Sony BDP-S570 3D Blu-ray Disc Player Review
First a little history. I bought a Sony BDP-S300 (one of the first BD player Sony) three years ago to use for my home theater system. It has always been a good player, just the basic equipment at no extra charge. Not many advanced features, but still excellent picture quality and is all I can.
But in the middle of 2009 I began looking for a new car to replace an aging S300 BD. S300 is an excellent image quality, no doubt, but it was a problem waiting for a long time to load times, sometimes playing up to five minutes on Blu-ray Java (active cold main disc menu). The process of “listening” for new machines, the Samsung BD-P1600 and Sony BDP-N460, which was again tested for one reason or another trade.
Well, my friend, it seems to me that my long wait for a replacement S300 is finished. I bought a Sony BDP-S570, Thursday 4 March 2010, and can be satisfied with the results.
I tell you I am alone for quality players. I’m not interested in combining the Internet – this can some of you may be prevented. I have only on the loading time, waiting time, the picture quality, sound quality. Everything else must be taken into consideration for me, because I can not turn the TV on your computer with Windows XP Media Center, on matters such as Netflix, YouTube, Pandora, etc. Thus, opinions and comments are only to multiple CDs / DVDs Videos can play based on this unit.
After removal of the BDP-S570 box and paste it into the TV via HDMI, I downloaded our “test” the first half of 2009, a powerful Java Paramount Blu-ray is “Star Trek” by JJ Abrams. The album, before you say “Klingon” is. I was very impressed if you go the “Pop Up / Menu” button on the remote hard disk automatically by four trailers (which plays automatically at the beginning of most of the time). This is the first device to fly further than the trailer at once. (Previously you had to forward each transferred simultaneously.)
How many of you know, “Star Trek” comic was one of the well-preserved BD, 2009, the image quality. Well, I would say that the PQ is excellent on this player and TV. The only problem I found was a successful video production and processing of short, unpredictable, if something happened and was a moment during the Battle of space weather at the end of the film. I turned around and repeated again and again without any problems.
Another test in 2007, British PB “Spider-Man 2 (trilogy). This CD is played load quickly and without problems, complete the PQ and the video output. No complaints at all here.
Plate final test of the 2006 Platinum Edition Disney DVD version of “The Little Mermaid. This album is a fast and excellent image quality filled all was. N. teeth, what you see on other machines BD on a standard DVD to play. The perfect vehicle for 480i 1080p native panel.
Some of the features that made me look like this: The remote has a button for opening / closing, by an old Sony BD remote control (the N460) has disappeared. This player does not have a car, it is easier to start (for now) on new players, the TV out of the box are connected. In addition, you can remove the light, and the number of (anti) appears before the unit is completely black, when in use. This is useful because I do not like all the lights, especially when playing movies in a dark room.
And it is very small this player. S300 is a giant in comparison. This player does not belong to all members of my office (in fact so small that I do not always have the Wii on top, like I did with my old player.)
Overall this is a good +++++ Sony machines. Here is a player I had expected. This technology has a level that the player gets really found a calling. In addition, the 3D player for the next firmware for this summer. So I am ready, the 3D image comics observed after discharge. Party for all .
